Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut Festival in Morimondo enlivened the Abbey village with the aroma of roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and chestnut flour desserts, in an autumn festival organised by the Pro Loco that drew residents and visitors to the heart of the Ticino Park.

In 2025, the Chestnut Festival once again celebrated autumn in Morimondo, in the village dominated by the Cistercian Abbey. The Pro Loco enlivened the streets of the centre with freshly roasted chestnuts, steaming mulled wine, and desserts made from chestnut flour, in a genuine and convivial festive atmosphere. The event, simple and authentic, confirmed the village's connection to its autumn traditions, in one of the most picturesque settings in the Ticino region.
