Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival of Zocca

The 48th edition of the Festival of the Typical Chestnut and Marrone of Zocca took place on the Sundays of October 2025, enlivening the historic center of the town in the Modena Apennines. Along the village streets, there were food stands, an artisanal market, and tasting points for roasted chestnuts and Zocca Marrone, with music and activities for all ages. An edition that confirmed the festival as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Province of Modena.

The 2025 Edition

In 2025, the 48th Festival of the Typical Chestnut and Marrone of Zocca brought the traditional autumn Sundays dedicated to the chestnut to the historic center. Among roasted chestnuts, castagnaccio, ciacci, and borlenghi, the exhibition-market brought together agricultural producers, artisans, and food stands, accompanied by live music and entertainment for families.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco Zocchese, reaffirmed the deep connection between the Municipality of Zocca and the typical Marrone, the symbolic fruit of the Modena Apennines.
