Edition 2025 — Chestnut and Homemade Bread Festival

The 2025 Chestnut and Homemade Bread Festival took place on Sunday, October 19th, in Piazza del Municipio in Brallo di Pregola, starting from 10 AM. Roasted chestnuts with mulled wine, bread from wood-fired ovens, the Alpini's lunch with polenta and lentils, Pro Loco desserts, folk music, and a walk through the ancient chestnut groves enlivened the autumn day.

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut and Homemade Bread Festival confirmed the traditional format in Brallo di Pregola: from 10 AM in Piazza del Municipio, steaming roasted chestnuts accompanied by mulled wine, homemade bread baked in the hamlets' wood-fired ovens, and the Alpini Group's lunch with polenta, lentils, and cooked salami. The Pro Loco offered chestnut cakes and rustic biscuits, while stalls featuring local crafts and products, folk music, and a walk through the ancient chestnut groves organized by FAI Giovani Oltrepò Pavese completed the day.
