Chantar l'Uvern - Parenaperde Concert in Sauze d'Oulx

The 2025 edition of Chantar l'Uvern confirmed the festival's traveling nature, bringing music, theater, and culture to the Susa, Chisone, Germanasca, and Sangone valleys in Piedmont from Candlemas to May 1st.

Promoted by the Cottian Alps Protected Areas and the Chambra d'Oc Association, the event highlighted Occitan and Franco-Provençal languages and cultures with events held in numerous mountain municipalities in the Turin area, including Sauze d'Oulx. The program featured a mix of traditional music concerts, dances, lectures, and social gatherings, involving local groups and artists dedicated to rediscovering the musical and linguistic heritage of the alpine valleys. In 2025, most events were free and open to both residents and tourists.
