Edition 2025 — Challenge Cesenatico

The 2025 edition, the first in the history of Challenge Cesenatico, took place on the weekend of May 10-11, marking the debut of the Romagna stage in the Challenge Family circuit. The Half Distance race (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling, 21 km running) was held on Sunday, May 11, with the Sprint Triathlon and Junior Duathlon scheduled for Saturday. The headquarters were at Colonia Agip in Cesenatico.

Challenge Cesenatico 2025 marked the inaugural edition of the event on the Romagna Riviera, with the program running from May 8 to 11. Saturday, May 10, saw the start of the Sprint Triathlon (women at 9:30 AM, men at 1:00 PM) along with the Junior Duathlon.

Sunday, May 11, featured the Half/Middle Distance race: 1.9 km of swimming in open water starting from the beach in front of Colonia Agip, 90 km of cycling organized in a 35 km loop to be repeated twice plus out-and-back sections, and 21 km of running on a flat circuit of five laps along the promenade. The debut confirmed Cesenatico as a new reference point for middle-distance triathlon.
