Cesarino Carnival

The 2025 Cesarino Carnival took place over two days, Sunday, March 2 and Sunday, March 9, 2025, with parades departing from the Scalo d'Alaggio in the afternoon. Along the route, processions of masked groups and allegorical papier-mâché floats paraded with themes ranging from tradition to fantasy, including Pulcinella and Pirates of the Caribbean. The event, free and open to all, united the community of Porto Cesareo in a celebration of music, games, and joy, with awards dedicated to the most creative groups appreciated by the public, including the 'applause-o-meter' prize. The event was organized by the Spontaneous Carnival Committee in collaboration with the Municipality of Porto Cesareo.
