Edition 2025 — Cerasuolo a Mare
The Casalbordino stop of the 2025 edition of Cerasuolo a Mare took place on Friday, August 1, 2025, on the seafront of the Chieti town. The event was part of a tour that included 7 stops in 3 provinces (Pescara, Chieti, and Teramo) with the participation of 40 Abruzzo wineries.
Promoted by Confesercenti Pescara and directed by Gianni Taucci, the evening featured tastings of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, the rosé made from Montepulciano grapes, and other regional wines, with the assistance of sommeliers from the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier. An affordable tasting kit allowed guests to receive a glass and several samples, while food stands along the seafront offered pairings with Adriatic flavors. The event confirmed Casalbordino as one of the most popular destinations for the Abruzzo summer wine festival.
