Summer Carnival 2025 — 4th edition
On August 29 and 30, 2025, Centuripe celebrated the fourth edition of its Summer Carnival, two nights dedicated to music, shows, and fun. The public was invited to participate freely with masks, costumes, colors, and sequins, enlivening the streets of the historic center.
The highlights were the costumed group parades, with the procession starting from Piazza Lanuvio and ending in Piazza Duomo, accompanied by dancing, themed evenings, and entertainment for children. The event, organized by the Municipality of Centuripe together with the Associazione Cinque Caps, confirmed itself as one of the most anticipated highlights of the Centuripe summer, with free admission.
Programme
The two nights
- Friday, August 29, 2025 — Opening of the Summer Carnival: parade of costumed groups from Piazza Lanuvio to Piazza Duomo, music, dancing, and entertainment for adults and children.
- Saturday, August 30, 2025 — Second night with costumed parades, shows, DJ sets, and roving entertainment in the historic center, concluding the party in Piazza Duomo.
In recent editions, the evening in Piazza Duomo has also included fire shows and DJ sets; the complete list of artists for the 2025 edition was not released as an official timed program.
