Celebrations in Honor of the Patron Saint San Filippo Neri

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of San Filippo Neri in Sant'Eusanio del Sangro followed the usual course of the late-May celebrations. The town came alive with illuminations, evening shows in the square, brass band concerts, and activities for children, while the religious dimension reached its peak on May 26, the Saint's day, with the solemn Holy Mass and the procession of the patron saint's statue through the streets of the village.

The festival, organized by the parish community together with the Municipality of Sant'Eusanio del Sangro, in the province of Chieti, confirmed its role as a key identity event for the Frentano area of Abruzzo, drawing families and emigrants back to the town to renew their bond with the Patron Saint.
