Celebrations in Honor of the Madonna delle Grazie

2025 Celebrations

On September 8, 2025, the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin, Cagnano Varano renewed its devotion to the Madonna delle Grazie with a day of religious celebrations and civil events. The statue of the Madonna, venerated in the ancient church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, was carried in procession amidst the participation of the faithful.

Musically, the protagonist was the evening concert by the Gran Concerto Bandistico di Conversano, one of the most renowned brass bands in Puglia. A special role was played by the Città di Cagnano Varano Musical Band, which celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2025 and performed again on September 8th for the festival. The illuminations, folkloric moments, and traditional fireworks completed the festivities, organized by the Madonna delle Grazie Festival Committee.
