The 2025 edition of the Saint Stephen feast in Pizzoli

The 2025 edition of the celebrations in honor of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr took place on December 26, 2025, in Pizzoli, in the province of L'Aquila. The day began at first light with traditional firecracker salutes, followed by the Abruzzo bagpipes touring the streets of the center. In the late morning, a solemn mass was celebrated, with the Mayor offering a candle to the patron saint. Afterward, a wreath was laid at the War Memorial in Piazza Municipio, followed by the procession with the statue of Saint Stephen and the blessing and distribution of the Torrone di Santo Stefano to the community.
