Edition 2025 — Saint John the Baptist Festival

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Presicce-Acquarica celebrated the festivities in honor of Saint John the Baptist, included in the official calendar of the Municipality's summer events. The day combined the religious moment, with the evening procession that crossed the village, with the popular festival in Piazza Municipio, enlivened in the evening by the concert of Enzo Petrachi. A deeply felt event in the heart of one of Italy's most beautiful villages, in the Salento area of Lecce.

The June 24, 2025 festival

The 2025 edition of the Celebrations in Honor of Saint John the Baptist took place on Tuesday, June 24th, in Presicce-Acquarica, as part of the official calendar of summer events promoted by the Municipality. The evening began with the procession, which departed from Piazza Municipio and wound through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the community.

The religious moment was followed by the popular festival: in the evening, the square hosted the concert by Enzo Petrachi, with music enlivening the village until late. The anniversary confirmed itself as one of the most attended events of the Presicce summer, capable of weaving together devotion, tradition, and conviviality in Salento, in the province of Lecce.
