Celebrations in Honor of Saint Anthony of Padua – Small Feast

The 2025 edition of the Small Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Fragagnano was held on June 12th and 13th, under the guidance of parish priest Father Graziano Lupoli and organized by the Festival Committee. The June recurrence, more intimate than the grand August festival, renewed the popular devotion that links the Taranto town to its patron saint.

On June 12th, the final day of the thirteen-day prayer, an evening mass was celebrated, followed by a concert by the Italianissima Band in Piazza Regina Margherita. On the 13th, the Saint's liturgical day, the day opened with traditional firecrackers, mass with the blessing and distribution of Saint Anthony's bread, and concluded with a firework display and the procession of the statue accompanied by the "Città di Fragagnano" brass band.

• 19:00 — Firework display from the church terrace, by the company Maxima Fireworks of Bitonto
• Following — Procession of the statue through the town streets (via Regina Margherita, via Oberdan, corso Vittorio Emanuele and return to the church), accompanied by the "Città di Fragagnano" brass band
