Celebrations in Honor of Maria SS. Assunta and San Rocco

The 2025 edition of the Ferragosto festival in San Giovanni Incarico, promoted by the Pia Congregazione with the patronage of the Municipality and the Valle della Guardia Consortium, followed the traditional program. From August 12th to 14th, the preparation triduum took place with the rosary and Holy Mass at 6:30 PM in the Church of San Giovanni Battista. On August 15th, the Solemnity of the Assumption, the 6:30 PM mass was followed by the procession of Maria SS. Assunta accompanied by the "Vincenzo Bellini" municipal band directed by Maestro Gianfranco Ricci; at 9:00 PM, in Piazza Regina Margherita, the folk music show by I Saltapizzica took place. On August 16th, the feast of San Rocco, there was an evening mass and procession, followed at 9:00 PM by a concert by the band Orogenesi. All evenings were free of charge.
