Edition 2025 — Cavatelli Festival

In 2025, the Cavatelli Festival enlivened Piazza S. Nicola in Macchia Valfortore on the Ferragosto weekend, with the tasting of traditional cavatelli, a visit to the ancient mill, and celebrations for the Madonna Assunta, in a program also aimed at fellow citizens abroad.

The 2025 edition of the Cavatelli Festival confirmed the summer event in Macchia Valfortore, in the heart of the Molise Fortore. In Piazza S. Nicola, visitors were able to taste handmade cavatelli according to local tradition, while the Ferragosto program included a visit to the ancient water mill and the feast of the Madonna Assunta, in an intertwining of gastronomy, memory, and return to roots that characterizes the village in the province of Campobasso.

August 13: Cavatelli Festival in Piazza S. Nicola. August 14: visit to the ancient mill. August 15-16: celebrations for the Madonna Assunta.
