Edition 2025 — Cavallino Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Cavallino Carnival took place from March 2 to 4 in Cavallino and the village of Castromediano. The program alternated between the grand masked ball at the San Michele Arcangelo Pastoral Center, an evening of entertainment in Castromediano, and the traditional 'Te lu Paulinu funeral' on Shrove Tuesday, a rite that closes the carnival festivities in the Salento region.

The 2025 Cavallino Carnival was held from Sunday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 4, involving both Cavallino and the village of Castromediano. On Sunday, March 2, the San Michele Arcangelo Pastoral Center (via Cattaneo) hosted the grand masked ball. On Monday, March 3, the festivities moved to Castromediano, at the Arena Capitan Black, featuring a magic show by Mago Yuri. On Tuesday, March 4, Shrove Tuesday, the traditional 'Te lu Paulinu funeral' was celebrated, marking the final rite of the Carnival. The event was organized by the Patronal Feast Committee of Cavallino and the Maria Assunta Parish, with the support of the City of Cavallino.
