Cavagrande del Cassibile Living Nativity

The 31st edition of the Cavagrande del Cassibile Living Nativity took place in Avola Antica, in the Monzello di Pietre district, on December 26, 27, and 28, 2025, and January 4 and 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The route featured over eighty ancient Sicilian trades inside stone and wood workshops and homes: carpenter, cobbler, blacksmiths, washerwoman, and the preparation of ricotta, cheese, and bread. Among the protagonists were also live animals, including the famous donkey Pasquale. Visitors were able to taste ricotta, warm bread, wine, chestnuts, honey, legumes, olives, almonds, and hazelnuts. The event, organized by the Cava Grande Cultural Tourism Association, was dedicated to the memory of Gina Dell'Albani.

Opening times: December 26, 27, and 28, 2025 and January 4 and 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
