Edition 2025 — Social Carnival

The tenth edition of the Catania Social Carnival took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, starting at 4:30 PM from via Etnea (Villa Bellini). The theme of the year was "Tutta un'altra storia" (A whole different story), told by each participating group through costumes, workshops, and performances along the route in the historic center.

2025 Edition: "Tutta un'altra storia"

The tenth edition of the Catania Social Carnival was held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, starting at 4:30 PM from via Etnea, near Villa Bellini. The chosen theme, "Tutta un'altra storia", was interpreted by each participating group through costumes, preparatory workshops, and performances.

The parade crossed piazza Stesicoro, via Etnea, piazza Università, piazza Duomo, via Garibaldi, and piazza Mazzini, ending in the Castello Ursino area, at piazza dei Libri. Numerous local associations and groups took part in the event - including Arcigay Catania, BandaCircular, Circo Midulla, Bal FolKatania, Sambazita, and Trame di Quartiere - confirming the choral and participatory nature of this popular Catania Carnival.
