Catania Marathon 2025

The Naturosa Catania Marathon 2025 was held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Catania, with the return of the course entirely along Viale Kennedy, defined by president Santi Monasteri as the "natural home" of the marathon. Starts were staggered: the 10.5 km at 09:00 AM and the half marathon at 10:30 AM, along a course with a gradient of less than 1% overlooking the coast.

Nearly 1,200 athletes competed across the three distances—marathon, half marathon, and 10.5 km—with growing participation and an increasingly marked international presence. The medals and bibs celebrated "u Liotru," the elephant symbol of Catania, reaffirming the bond between the event and the city's identity. The 2025 edition confirmed the Catania Marathon as one of the reference running events in Southern Italy.
