Edition 2025 — Castrum Musicae

Before the official birth of Castrum Musicae in 2026, Diano Castello has cultivated a solid tradition of music in its churches and squares over the years, particularly with the Sorrisi Lirici festival, from which the new concert project takes its cue.

The Castrum Musicae season officially begins in 2026, but it is rooted in the musical activities that have animated Diano Castello for years, starting with the lyrical event Sorrisi Lirici hosted in the village. The historic churches and squares of the town have already hosted concerts and operas, building the audience and tradition on which the new festival is founded.

2025 represented the preparatory phase of the project, with the definition of the programme and the artistic direction entrusted to Nicholas Tagliatini, in view of the concert season's debut.
