Castronovo di Sicilia Living Nativity

The 2025/2026 edition of the Castronovo di Sicilia Living Nativity, organized by the Ali dei Sicani Association, was held on the evenings of December 27 and 28, 2025, and January 3, 4, and 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Along the cobbled alleys of the ancient Batia quarter, visitors followed a theatrical route illuminated by torches and accompanied by the music of bagpipers. The numerous stations showcased traditional peasant crafts and the typical flavors of the Sicani Mountains hinterland, from pitirri to chickpea and lentil soups. Admission was set at a symbolic fee of 5 euros. The event confirmed the success of previous editions, which had already seen around one hundred actors and over twenty stations animating the village in January 2025.
