Castrato Festival

The 2025 Castrato Festival was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, in the central Piazza Marconi of Santa Domenica Vittoria, in the Messina Nebrodi mountains.

The signature dish was grilled castrato served with fresh bread at the special price of 5 euros. Accompanying it were tastings of Etna wines curated by the Enoteca Regionale Orientale, in a pairing designed to highlight the local gastronomic excellence.

Announced by the Municipality as "the tastiest festival of the summer," the evening offered music, the scent of charcoal, and the vibrant atmosphere of Sicilian tradition, confirming itself as a convivial event deeply cherished by the community and visitors to the Nebrodi.
