Castione Chestnut Festival

The 2025 Castione Chestnut Festival took place on October 18 and 19 in the courtyards of the village of Castione, on the Brentonico Plateau (TN), organized by the Circolo di Castione and the Associazione Tutela Marroni di Castione.

As per tradition, the public enjoyed roasted chestnuts and Castione chestnuts, traditional Trentino dishes such as canederli, homemade desserts, chestnut beer, and Marroncino di Castione liqueur. The event also featured a live cooking show by chef Cristian Bertol, live wood carving, wandering musicians, children's activities, and guided hikes to the ancient chestnut groves, with a free shuttle service from Brentonico and Mori.
