Edition 2025 — Castiglione and Chiozza Carnival

In 2025, the Castiglione and Chiozza Carnival once again brought its masquerade party to the square, with the traditional event curated by the Pro Loco Castiglione Garfagnana. With music, masks, games, and food stalls serving bomboloni, hot chocolate, and mulled wine, the medieval village of Garfagnana confirmed a popular event loved by adults and children alike.

The 2025 edition reprised the consolidated formula of the carnival party in Castiglione di Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca: an afternoon of music and masquerade fun in the historic center, with food stalls and the awarding of the most successful costumes. The party, organized by the Pro Loco, also traditionally involved the hamlet of Chiozza, confirming itself as an awaited appointment in the winter calendar of the Garfagnana.
