Castello diVino

The first edition of Castello diVino took place in Celano from November 15 to 17, 2024, inaugurating the event in the courtyard of the Castello Piccolomini. The program combined gastronomy and culture: a photographic exhibition curated by the Sforza Archive dedicated to rural activities between the 19th and 20th centuries, educational workshops for students, a conference on wine and nutrition, and evenings dedicated to tastings. Among the protagonists were the Consortium for the Protection of Abruzzo Wines, the Damiani Vini winery, and local businesses, accompanied by the Young Band of Celano, folk choirs, and musicians from the Banda Città di Celano, as well as a DJ set. The event, with free admission, saw great participation, laying the groundwork for future editions.
