Castellaneta Carnival – A Carnival Fairytale

The first parade of "A Carnival Fairytale" was held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM. Organized by the Allegra Brigata Committee with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellaneta, the initiative was designed especially for children.

The procession of masked groups started from Via San Francesco, in the portico area, then traveled along Viale Verdi, Via Roma, and other streets of the center until reaching Piazza Principe di Napoli. At the end of the parade, a final dance performance took place in the square, featuring students and teachers from the Obsession Dance Academy, amidst colors, masks, and plenty of fun for both young and old.

• 4:00 PM — Parade departure from Via San Francesco (portico area)
• Procession along Viale Verdi, Via Roma, and city streets
• Arrival at Piazza Principe di Napoli
• Final dance performance by the Obsession Dance Academy
