Carnival 2025: the return of the floats

The 2025 edition of the Castellammare del Golfo Carnival marked the long-awaited return of allegorical floats after several years of absence. The parades were held on Sunday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 4, starting at 3:30 PM from via Segesta and following a route along via Vasile, via Crispi, corso Garibaldi, and via Marconi.

The floats, created by the Sicilia Smile association, reinterpreted cartoon themes like the Flintstones and the imagery of pirate films, accompanied by costumed groups, dances, and the participation of schools with students in costume. On Monday, March 3, at the Regina Margherita municipal park, children's entertainment featured the "Eterea" bubble show by Agata Leale, a costume parade, and the best costume award.
