Edition 2025 — Castellano Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Castellano Carnival was held on Sunday, February 23, with the gathering and departure at 2:00 PM from Via dei Caduti di Nassiriya. The parade of allegorical floats, masked groups, and music traveled through the main streets of Castel Madama, enlivening the village with a day of celebration open to the entire community and dedicated especially to children and families.

Castellano Carnival 2025

On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the traditional Castellano Carnival returned to Castel Madama. The gathering and departure of the procession were set for 2:00 PM from Via dei Caduti di Nassiriya, before winding through the town center with a parade of allegorical floats, masked groups, and music.

The event, promoted by the municipal administration in collaboration with local associations and the Pro Loco of Castel Madama, was an opportunity to celebrate the Carnival tradition together and spend a day of fun and joy in the streets of the village, in the Lazio region.

Programme

Sunday, February 23, 2025, gathering and departure at 2:00 PM from Via dei Caduti di Nassiriya. The procession traveled along Viale XXV Aprile, Via Sant'Anna, Via San Sebastiano, Via della Libertà, Via Roma, Piazza Dante, and Piazza Garibaldi, featuring a parade of allegorical floats, masked groups, and music. The event was promoted by the municipal administration in collaboration with local associations (including Casteju Ghost Talent, ASD Play, the Flag-wavers and musicians of Castel Madama, and the town districts) and the Pro Loco of Castel Madama.
