Castel Frentano Carnival 2025
The 2025 Carnival Festival in Castel Frentano, initially scheduled during the peak carnival period, was postponed due to bad weather and took place on Sunday, March 9, 2025. The allegorical float parade departed at 3:00 PM from Via Orientale, crossing the historic center of the Chieti village to arrive at Piazza dell'Assunta.
From 4:30 PM, the day continued in the square with entertainment, music, food stalls, and the grand finale of the Carnival, amidst confetti and masks. A festival designed for the enjoyment of children and adults, which confirmed the vitality of the carnival tradition in Castel Frentano, in the heart of the Frentano Abruzzo.
