Castanea — Cultura e Sapori della Castagna

The 13th edition of Castanea, in 2025, transformed October into a month of celebration for the chestnut in Pradalunga, with events on October 4-5, 8, 10, 12, 18-19, and the grand finale on October 25-26.

The inauguration was held on Saturday, October 4th at 6 pm with Mass in the parish church of Saints Cristoforo and Vincenzo. On Sunday, October 5th, a guided walk through the chestnut groves started from the Sanctuary of Forcella, followed by a lunch based on chestnuts at the Oratory. On Saturday, October 25th, the conference Research and Prospects on chestnut cultivation, and on Sunday, October 26th, the main day in Piazza Mazzini (10 am-7 pm) with a thematic exhibition, stands, roasted chestnuts of the best Misma varieties, and chestnut flour biscuits.
