Edition 2025 — Castagnata di Valnegra
The 2025 edition of the Castagnata e Mercatini di Valnegra took place on Saturday, October 25th, as part of the Upper Val Brembana autumn circuit "I Giorni dei Gogìs". Markets from 10:30 AM, typical lunch with casoncelli, salami, and cheeses, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine from the afternoon, accordion music, and face painting for children.
In 2025, the Festa delle Castagne in Valnegra enlivened the village of Val Brembana on Saturday, October 25th, as part of the "I Giorni dei Gogìs" circuit, which brings together the autumn festivals of the area. Amidst markets, a typical lunch, roasted chestnuts, and music, the day attracted visitors eager to discover the flavours of autumn and a small mountain village rich in history, next to the historic "Frasen", the secular ash tree in the village centre.
