Edition 2025 — Casentino Beyond Growth

Casentino Beyond Growth was born as a project of the Casentino territory to promote discussion on degrowth and alternative economic models. The 2025 initiatives laid the foundations for the event, involving local associations in the valley around the themes of sustainable agriculture, community, and environmental care.

Casentino Beyond Growth is a project promoted by local Casentino entities — including the Biodistretto Casentino and the Ecomuseo del Casentino — to stimulate reflection on degrowth and alternative economic models in the heart of the Arezzo province. The process brought together associations, solidarity purchasing groups, and citizens around the themes of sustainable agriculture, community economy, and environmental care. From these foundations grew the event that brings meetings, debates, and music to Poppi dedicated to the future of the valley.
