Edition 2025 — Casatiello Festival

In 2025, the Pro Loco of Ponza once again hosted the Casatiello Festival on Easter Sunday in Piazza Carlo Pisacane, confirming it as a well-established event on the island's calendar. As per tradition, the event combined the free tasting of the Ponza Easter pastry, served with pecorino, fresh fava beans, and local wine, with live music in the port square, with free admission for residents and visitors.

The 2025 edition

In the spring of 2025, the Casatiello Festival returned to Ponza on Easter Sunday in Piazza Carlo Pisacane, organized by the Pro Loco Tourist Association of Ponza with the support of the Municipality.

The formula remained the one that made the event popular: distribution of the sweet Ponza casatiello accompanied by pecorino, fresh fava beans, and island wine, with live music and dancing in the square from late afternoon until evening, with no entry fee.

For the Pontine island, the festival represents the official start of the season: a moment when the community gathers at the port and welcomes the first visitors of the year with the most iconic treat of the Ponza Easter.
