Edition 2025 — Casalvecchio: Taste and Culture

In 2025, Casalvecchio: Taste and Culture once again brought Piazza Municipio and the alleys of Casalvecchio Siculo to life in the heart of the Agrò Valley. A festive day designed to showcase the medieval village through folk traditions and conviviality, featuring guided tours of the historic center, scenic bike tours, exhibitions, concerts, performances, and the essential street food featuring typical Messina specialties.

The 2025 edition of Casalvecchio: Taste and Culture confirmed the formula that combines taste with the discovery of the territory. Starting in the morning, Piazza Municipio and the historic center of Casalvecchio Siculo hosted guided tours through the village alleys, scenic bicycle tours, and exhibitions, in an atmosphere of authentic village conviviality.

The day was enlivened by live concerts, performances, and dances, while food stands offered typical Messina specialties and products from the ancient agro-pastoral tradition of the Agrò Valley. A festival that focused on the identity of the Peloritani Mountains village and the hospitality of its community.
