Edition 2025 — Casalnuovo Living Nativity

On December 28, 2025, from 7:00 PM, the historic center of Casalnuovo Monterotaro hosted the ninth edition of its Living Nativity. The alleys of the Daunian village were transformed into a Bethlehem of yesteryear, animated by over a hundred performers, artisan workshops, ancient trades, and scenes of daily life. The food and wine trail featuring local products was confirmed, along with the participation of new residents, involved by ARCI in the scenes along the route. Admission was free.

The ninth edition of the Casalnuovo Monterotaro Living Nativity took place on December 28, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, in the historic center of the village in the province of Foggia. The event, organized by the Pro Loco De Rocca together with the SS. Pietro e Nicolò Parish and under the patronage of the Municipality, renewed the traditional Nativity re-enactment along an itinerant route illuminated by torches.

As in previous editions, the alleys were brought to life by over a hundred performers including shepherds, artisans, and merchants, with a rich food and wine trail of local products. The involvement of new residents in the scenes was confirmed, testifying to the commitment to integration promoted by ARCI. The free event drew over a thousand visitors from the Capitanata and neighboring regions.

Programme

Route opens at 7:00 PM in the historic center. Itinerant Nativity re-enactment with over a hundred performers, ancient trade workshops, scenes of daily life, devotional songs, and a food and wine trail with local products.
