Edition 2025 — Carnival of Flavors

The Carnival of Flavors is a recently established event in Isola delle Femmine, created to promote the food and wine excellence of the Palermo area. The festival follows the tradition of the historic cannolo festivals found in the region, from nearby Piana degli Albanesi to Casteldaccia, where cannoli and wine are the stars of late winter and carnival celebrations.

The Carnival of Flavors – Cannolo and Wine Festival is a recently launched event in the calendar of Isola delle Femmine, a coastal town in the Metropolitan City of Palermo, Sicily.

The event is inspired by the long tradition of cannolo festivals in the Palermo area, which celebrate the iconic Sicilian pastry alongside local wines during the carnival and late winter season. The initiative, promoted by the Sikania Eventi association with the Pro Loco of Isola delle Femmine, aims to enhance local traditions, artistic culture, and gastronomic excellence, combining tastings, art, and community gatherings.
