In Credaro, a municipality in the province of Bergamo overlooking the hills of Lake Iseo, Carnival has its heart in the Oratory on Via San Francesco d'Assisi. More than a parade, it's a community celebration that takes place over several evenings, with a theme that acts as a common thread each year: for the 2026 edition, it's "Deep Sea". It's the classic Lombard oratory Carnival, where good food and fun for all ages bring together young and old.
Between open kitchen and fun
The program alternates between gastronomic moments and entertainment. The open kitchen offers pizza, grilled dishes, griddle specialties, and local delicacies like the Brescian spit-roast and the Florentine steak. For the little ones, there are bouncy castles and entertainment, while for adults, there are special evenings: the murder mystery dinner, a real highlight with its interactive mystery atmosphere, and karaoke.
Masked Valentine's Day
Among the most original events is the masked Valentine's Day evening, with dinner, DJ set, and a contest for the best costume couple. It's a sign of a Carnival that knows how to combine popular tradition with fresh and engaging offerings, capable of attracting visitors from neighboring villages in the morainic hills of Sebino bergamasco.
