Edition 2025 — Carnesciale Paternese
In 2025, the Carnesciale Paternese once again animated Paterno with the Tasting of the Grande Rafanata, the parade of artisanal floats, the masked procession, a village for children, and concerts in the square, confirming itself as one of the most cherished carnivals in the Val d'Agri.
The 2025 edition of the Carnesciale Paternese reprised the successful formula that led to its recognition as Lucanian intangible heritage: the Grande Rafanata, the parade of floats built by local groups, the masked procession, and concerts that drew crowds from all over the Val d'Agri, all in two days of intergenerational celebration.
