Edition 2025 — Carini Storica
Carini Storica 2025 — 2nd Edition
The second edition of Carini Storica was held from September 26 to 28, 2025, in the historic center of Carini, in the province of Palermo. The La Grua-Talamanca Castle and the alleys of the village transformed into an open-air stage, immersing visitors in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance with knights in armor, elegant ladies, artisans at work, and period merchants.
The program brought together numerous Sicilian historical groups, including Antica Vicari, La Grua Talamanca di Carini, the Counts Moncada of Cammarata and San Giovanni Gemini, the Ventimiglia Association of Montelepre, groups from Castelbuono, I Grifoni di Biscari–Tamburi di Acate, Bodyfly StudioLab Carini, and La Perla Imperiale of Castelvetrano. There was no shortage of falconry displays, featuring hawks and imperial owls, and the first-ever opening of the castle's ancient prisons, with the restored cell open for free visits.
