Cardoncello on the Road – Cardoncello Mushroom Festival

The 20th Cardoncello Mushroom Festival brought the historic center of Ruvo di Puglia to life on November 8-9, 2025, celebrating twenty years of the event with patron Adriana Volpe. The "Taste and Typicality" stalls offered traditional Cardoncello-based dishes prepared by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the local hospitality school, including dedicated gluten-free areas.

Among the most popular events were the official inauguration in Piazza Matteotti, concerts in Piazza Le Monache (Toliè e Ansia, Tinti e Taranta, Dimofilis), live shows on Corso Gramsci ("We Love 2000" and Music Flow), roaming entertainment by the "Basilio Giandonato" Band and the Birbant Street Band, hot air balloon launches, and the 10th VW Caravan with vintage cars and motorcycles. On Sunday morning, a guided hike by the Terrae Association led visitors between Bosco Scoparella and the Aqueduct Canal. The program was completed by the "Art for the Cardoncello" exhibition and guided tours of the city's monuments.

From November 6 to 22, at Via Cattedrale 88, the "Art for the Cardoncello" exhibition featured painting, sculpture, and graphic art.
