Cardacia 2025: the tenth edition
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Ferla celebrated the tenth edition of the Cardacia – August Carnival. The gathering of masked groups started at 8:00 PM from Piazza Aldo Moro, kicking off a long and colorful parade through the historic center of the Iblean village.
The procession traveled along Via Umberto, Via Garibaldi, and Via Vittorio Emanuele, concluding in Piazza Sant'Antonio. As per tradition, each group, from ten to fifty participants, paraded without an imposed theme or rented costumes, in the name of creativity and fun. Group registrations closed on August 11.
The evening concluded with the Foam Party on Via Vittorio Emanuele, a highlight for the younger crowd, with free admission. The event was organized by the Municipality of Ferla, confirming Cardacia as one of the hallmark events of the Ferla summer.
