Edition 2025 — Carcaci Living Nativity
The village of Carcaci during the holidays
In the heart of inland Sicily, the village of Carcaci in Centuripe (province of Enna) experiences the Christmas holidays as a strong moment of its rural identity. The restoration of the square and the creation of the Ruralia farmers' market have restored centrality to the village, promoting zero-kilometer local products and community traditions.
Building on this relaunch, the Carcaci Living Nativity event combines the re-enactment of the Nativity, ancient crafts, and the Eucharistic celebration. It is an event that binds faith, community, and gastronomy, forming part of the Christmas program of the Municipality of Centuripe and serving as an opportunity to rediscover the authentic flavors and hospitality of the Enna territory.
