Edition 2025 — Capuchin Living Nativity
2024-2025 Edition: «Christmas, Light of the Soul»
The 37th edition of the Capuchin Friars Living Nativity in Nicosia was held on December 25, 2024 (with entry times at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM) and on the days of December 26, December 29, and January 6 (from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM). The chosen theme, «Christmas, Light of the Soul – We Have All Been Children», focused on the simplicity and beauty of Christmas.
Inside the Capuchin Friars' Garden, performers in costume reconstructed the Bethlehem of two thousand years ago, featuring ancient craft workshops, scenes of daily life, and the Nativity hut, in a journey that intertwined the Gospel narrative with contemporary themes. Admission, free but by reservation, attracted numerous visitors from Nicosia and the entire province of Enna.
