The Capodanno in Piazza (New Year's Eve in the Square) in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, is the big party with which the city welcomes the new year. On the evening of December 31st, Corso Mazzini, the pedestrian area of the historic centre, transforms into an open-air dance floor with live music, DJ sets, entertainment, and the traditional midnight toast.

The event, with free admission, is organised by the Municipality of Montebelluna and entrusted each year to local event companies. Shows, artists, and entertainers accompany the countdown to midnight, in a festive atmosphere that attracts families, young people, and visitors from neighbouring municipalities.

Capodanno in Piazza concludes Montebelluna's long calendar of Christmas events, featuring markets, an ice rink, nativity scenes, and concerts. To ensure the safety of the party, the Municipality adopts specific ordinances each year, such as the ban on selling and consuming drinks in glass containers in the Corso Mazzini area.

Capodanno in Piazza 2026 returns to Corso Mazzini, the pedestrian area in the centre of Montebelluna, on New Year's Eve.
