The 2025 Canzoncine dell'Immacolata in Scicli
In December 2025, the historic center of Scicli relived the tradition of the Canzoncine dell'Immacolata. On Sunday, December 7th, at 7:30 PM, the Canzoncine of Santa Maria La Nova traveled through the city streets accompanied by the local band; on December 8th, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception continued with the solemn mass and the procession of the statue along Via Nazionale and Corso Umberto.
The following weekend, the Canzoncine of San Bartolomeo enlivened another part of the historic center, with the procession along Via Ispica, Corso Garibaldi, and Piazza Italia. In 2025, the ritual confirmed its strong revival, involving devotees, young people, and visitors in one of the most beloved intangible traditions of the Province of Ragusa and Sicily.
