Cantine Aperte 2025 at Tenute Nicosia

The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, May 25, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at the Trecastagni (CT) estate at the foot of Mount Etna. The day offered a rich program blending wine, nature, and culture.

What happened

• Guided tours of the Monte Gorna vineyards and the ancient palmento (time slots 11:15 AM-12:30 PM and 3:00 PM-5:30 PM);
• Tastings in the cellar with ONAV masters and tasting stations in the vineyard;
• Talk show "Stories of (Extra)ordinary Sustainability" (11:15 AM);
• Sensory workshop in the vineyard "The Search for Light" (4:00 PM) and taste workshop "From Bees to Honey" with Slow Food;
• Live music and sunset DJ set (6:00 PM).

The Slow Food corner with local products accompanied the day, while the Osteria Lunch and Picnic Box offered slow-food cuisine paired with the Nicosia family's Etna wines.
