Cantine Aperte 2025 at Baglio di Pianetto

The 2025 edition of Cantine Aperte at the Baglio di Pianetto estate took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Santa Cristina Gela, in the Province of Palermo. The day celebrated the high-altitude wines of the Pianetto district and the Arbëreshë roots of the territory.

The program included a shuttle service for cellar tours, two masterclass tasting sessions led by winemakers Francesco Matesi and Giuseppe Lo Iacono, each lasting about 45 minutes, and a picnic in the vineyards with farm-to-table products: local cheeses and ricotta, Slow Food bread, and Sicilian cannoli. The day was accompanied by live music from the group Shega. On tasting were the estate's organic wines, from Catarratto, Grillo, and Insolia to Nero d'Avola, along with the new extra virgin olive oil.
