Edition 2025 — Autumn Festival

The 2025 edition of the Canterano Autumn Festival took place on Saturday, November 1st, and Sunday, November 2nd, in Piazza Roma, in the historic center of the village. Organized by the Pro Loco of Canterano, the festival offered two days of tasting autumn flavors: chestnut bread, maltagliati with beans and DOP chestnuts, arrosticini, roasted chestnuts, and mulled wine, accompanied by music.

Canterano Autumn Festival 2025

The Canterano Autumn Festival returned on Saturday, November 1st, and Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, in Piazza Roma, the heart of the village overlooking the Aniene Valley. The Pro Loco welcomed visitors on Saturday starting at 5:00 PM for dinner and on Sunday from 12:00 PM for lunch.

The menu celebrated the autumn of the Lazio region: chestnut bread with local cheeses, maltagliati with beans and crumbled DOP chestnuts, arrosticini, roasted chestnuts paired with mulled wine, and finally, desserts such as Mont Blanc, lemon tarts, and meringues. The tastings were accompanied by music in a cozy and convivial atmosphere, amidst walks through the village and views of the Simbruini Mountains.
