Edition 2025 — Cantè j'euv
The Cantè j'euv of the Alta Langa is an egg-begging tradition that enlivens the small villages of the Province of Cuneo every year upon the arrival of spring. In 2025, the ritual was passed down and brought back to the streets thanks to the commitment of the communities and the children of the Sale delle Langhe Primary School, accompanied by local musicians.
As custom dictates, the singers walked through the village streets, chanting ancient verses to request eggs—a symbol of fertility and rebirth—keeping alive a rural memory shared between Paroldo and the neighboring Langhe towns.
