Edition 2025 — Cantar Maggio

The 2025 edition of the Cantar Maggio in Montagnana Pistoiese took place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, as part of the Maggio Itinerante Pistoiese. The procession of the Collettivo Folcloristico Montano crossed the streets of the Marliana village, bringing May songs, dances, and the conviviality of the rural tradition of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

On May 17, 2025, Montagnana Pistoiese experienced its stage of the Cantar Maggio, included in the calendar of the Maggio Itinerante Pistoiese which touches the villages of the Pistoia Mountains throughout the month. The procession, led by the singers and musicians of the Collettivo Folcloristico Montano, enlivened the village streets with ancient propitiatory songs, accompanied by dances and food offered by the inhabitants. An evening of celebration that renewed one of the most beloved traditions of the territory.
